Delete Your Playbook Account
Playbook allows users to permanently delete their account and associated account data.
Delete Your Account in the Playbook App
If you still have access to Playbook, use the account-deletion option in your account settings.
The in-app flow permanently deletes the Playbook account rather than temporarily deactivating it.
Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Request Deletion Without the App
If you no longer have access to the Playbook app, you can request deletion by email.
Send your request to:

Please send the request from the email address associated with your Playbook account where possible.
Include:
- the email address associated with the account;
- your Playbook handle, if known;
- a clear statement that you want the Playbook account permanently deleted.
You do not need to reinstall the Playbook app to submit an external deletion request.
Playbook may need to take reasonable steps to verify that the request concerns your account before deleting it.
Never send your password or authentication codes.
What Account Deletion Removes
Playbook's account-deletion system is designed to remove active account data associated with the account, including applicable:
- authentication identity;
- profile information;
- profile image records and files;
- contributions;
- contribution images;
- revisions;
- revision images;
- saves;
- follows;
- blocks;
- account telemetry;
- related account storage.
Deleting an account is not the same as temporarily disabling or freezing it.
Limited Information That May Be Retained
Playbook may retain limited information where reasonably necessary or legally required for purposes such as:
- security;
- fraud or abuse prevention;
- moderation and enforcement history;
- resolving disputes;
- compliance with legal obligations;
- establishing, exercising, or defending legal claims.
Where appropriate, retained moderation or enforcement records may be detached from the deleted public contribution or account.
Playbook does not retain this limited information in order to keep a deleted user's public profile active.

Published Copies Outside Playbook
Deleting your Playbook account removes the relevant content from Playbook's systems subject to the limited exceptions described above.
Playbook cannot necessarily remove copies independently made or stored outside Playbook by other people before deletion, such as screenshots or other externally preserved copies.
