Playbook Cookie Policy

Last reviewed: 24 August 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how the public Playbook website uses cookies and similar browser-storage technologies.

It should be read together with the Privacy Policy.

1. Current Website Position

As of the date above, Playbook does not intentionally use non-essential cookies for advertising, cross-site tracking, or behavioral advertising on the public website.

Playbook also does not currently enable a public-site advertising network or cross-site advertising profile.

This means the public website is intentionally configured to minimize unnecessary browser tracking.

2. What Cookies Are

Cookies are small text files that a website or service may place on your device through your browser.

Related technologies may include local storage, session storage, pixels, tags, or similar browser mechanisms.

These technologies can be used for purposes such as:

  • security;
  • authentication;
  • remembering settings;
  • fraud prevention;
  • performance measurement;
  • analytics;
  • advertising.

Not every website uses every category.

3. Strictly Necessary and Security Technologies

Hosting, delivery, security, or infrastructure providers may use strictly necessary technical mechanisms where required to:

  • deliver website pages;
  • route requests;
  • protect the Service from abuse;
  • maintain security;
  • prevent fraud;
  • manage technical sessions;
  • preserve reliability.

These mechanisms may depend on the infrastructure or security conditions applying to a particular request.

Playbook does not use strictly necessary technologies to create advertising profiles.

4. Analytics

Playbook does not currently intentionally enable non-essential cookie-based analytics on the public website.

If Playbook later introduces optional analytics or similar measurement technologies that require user choice under applicable law, this Policy and the Cookie Notice & Preferences page will be updated before or when that change is introduced.

5. Advertising and Cross-Site Tracking

Playbook does not currently operate an advertising business on the public website.

Playbook does not currently intentionally place advertising cookies or cross-site behavioral-tracking cookies on the public website.

If this changes materially, Playbook will update its disclosures and provide any legally required controls before enabling that processing where required by applicable law.

6. Third-Party Resources

The public website may load or interact with third-party infrastructure or resources required to display or operate the site.

Those providers may receive ordinary technical request information such as:

  • IP address;
  • browser or user-agent information;
  • request time;
  • requested resource;
  • network and security metadata.

Third-party services that you independently visit through links from Playbook are governed by their own privacy and cookie practices.

7. Browser Controls

Most browsers allow you to view, delete, block, or restrict cookies through browser settings.

Blocking all cookies or browser storage may affect websites that rely on strictly necessary technologies for security, authentication, or functionality.

Because Playbook does not currently intentionally enable optional advertising or behavioral-tracking cookies on the public website, there are presently no optional Playbook cookie categories that you need to enable in order to browse the public site.

The current status of Playbook's optional cookie categories is available on the Cookie Notice & Preferences page.

If optional cookie categories are introduced in the future, Playbook will provide appropriate controls where required by applicable law.

9. Changes to This Policy

Playbook may update this Cookie Policy when:

  • website technology changes;
  • analytics or other optional services are introduced;
  • infrastructure changes;
  • legal requirements change;
  • browser-storage practices change.

The effective date or review date will be updated when material changes are published.
